Help create PDFs and instructional videos for COVID-19 apps used by front-line responders
join::table has teamed up with Claris to collaborate on rapid creation of free custom apps to support healthcare, education, disaster response, and non-profit organizations. See our previous post to learn more.
Now that we are well in full swing, we’d like to organize the apps that have been created by our generous volunteers and the wonderful Claris Partners, and make them available to anyone and everyone who needs them.
In order to make that happen, we need a smooth hand-off for each app to each organization. We’d like to be able to provide clear and concise documentation to each organization so they have easy to follow instructions on how to set up the app and how to use it quickly and effectively.
That’s where you come in! You do not need to be technically-advanced to write a user guide with screenshots (and/or “explainer” videos). Anyone who wants to help fight against this virus and has some time to spare, please sign up to volunteer with “Documentation” as one of the focus areas. If you have already volunteered and wish to add “Documentation” as focus area, please email us at jointableteam@gmail.com and we will update your record.
Specifically, we’d love to see documentation on the following for each app our volunteers complete:
- Server setup/integration setup (if applicable)
- How to access the app (different device types, login process, et cetera)
- Instructions on how to use the app along with screenshots
